"Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez"
So, this summer I decided to get this pool for Koy since I knew I wouldn't be able to make it much to the big pool. It was great, Scarlett and I would be inside on the couch and still be able to see out the front window and watch Koy. He had a blast and so did all the neighbor kids!

So, what's one of the first things we did when we got home? Paint Scarlett's toes of course, and top her off with a flower clip! Koy had to get in on the action. No polish for Koy though, or Dad might pitch a fit! Dad is holding our cutey while she models her baby leggings!
So, Jane and her girls were so cute and put up this sign in our yard and decorated our car. This is her coming home outfit, which I didn't even get a pic of that day, so here she is a week later. Oh well.
I'm lucky that Jane got these pictures for me. He wanted to see her hands and feet. I just love the look of instant love Koy has on his face. What a sweet, sweet boy and a good big brother he already is!
This is still at the hospital. He loved her so much right away. He kept telling everyone that it was his baby and trying to show her to them.

A miracle! I love her! It wa music to my ears to hear her cry, since last time Koy couldn't open his lungs. She weighed 8 pounds 12 ounces and was 20 inches long.

She had so much "cheese" on her that the nurse couldn't even get it all off. They had to give her a bath in the nursery later and we could hear her crying from our room.
Happy Family! So, I decided the next time around having a baby was a LOT easier! I hope the trend continues. Here's how it went this time. I went into labor on my own Thursday night, but didn't know it. I was having contractions regularly, but not close. But, they didn't really hurt, and this had happened a week before, but hurt more that time. So, I didn't think they were doing anything. When I went in the next morning to get induced (I wasn't sure I really wanted to get induced b/c I wanted the baby to come on her own.), they got me all hooked up and saw that I was having contractions on my own reularly and so the nurse checked me and I was already dialated to a 5! Crazy. The contractions still weren't hurting. I was so amazed. Believe me, this is not what happened with Koy. My contractions kept speeding up and then the nurse gave me a baby dose of pitocin b/c I was already going on my own. (By the way, I loved my nurse that was there through the delivery and the lady who gave me my epidural. I mentioned that I had ran a marathon at the beginning of my pregnancy to the nurse, and so the next day she felt so inspired she went out for a run!) Then they started to hurt. I asked for my epidural and the lady came in. That's when the pain started. It was pretty miserable getting that epidural through hard contractions, but once it took, I felt much better. I still had pain in the lower left part of my back, but everything else was numb! I got one more dose to try to help with that before I had her, but it didn't really matter because Scarlett came fast. I couldn't really tell when I was pushing, just what I wanted. :) I was only at the hospital in full labor from 7am to 10:30am. So wonderful. Doctor Gross almost didn't make it to deliver Scarlett, and Jane almost didn't make it to take the pics!
We had a lot of fun with Mimi while she was here! Too bad she missed Scarlett's arrival.
At the end I started to get very swollen and miserable. I even slipped on a puddle of liquid at the grocery store while my mom was here, thank goodness she was, because I couldn't walk the next day. My pelvis was already hurting, but trying to stop myself from falling really put a lot of pressure on it. I heard it pop, and boy did it hurt! I was grateful to get a blessing from Kable and our neighbor Mike Anderson, and thanks to the power of the priesthood my pelvis healed enough that I could get around without too much pain the next day.
Slip N Slide with Will and Ike Anderson!
Koy loves his friends Will and Ike. He asks me everyday where Ike is and if he can play. The Andersons are such a neat family, and it has been a blessing to live only 2 doors down from them. Koy has instant playmates just outside the door, and Anne and I can sit and talk while we watch them play. It is so nice. Not to mention that Anne Anderson is the name of my sister, kind of ironic. Heavenly Father must know that I have always wanted to live near her, and so this is just another way of letting me know He cares. I has been fun trading recipes, dinners, treats, and trading off babysitting for date nights. We are really going to miss them when they move in a few months. 
So, here are my first cuttings from my flower garden. I love Peonies. I even had some in my wedding bouquet. I'll have to find a picture and add it. It is so fun to have my own flowers now and be able to cut fresh ones to enjoy for my house.
