Maternity Pictures

So, the ones above are all doctored up by me with my limited knowledge. It's fun to play around with pictures. I would love to learn more.

I have been wanting to take maternity pictures this time around, since I didn't the last time I was pregnant. I also didn't want to pay someone, so I asked a friend, Jane, to take them in her backyard for me. She was so nice to do it and did a great job. Her backyard was perfect and the weather really cooperated too (about 70 and overcast). The only thing I might have changed was to take them earlier in my pregnancy, like not wait until I'm 8 months along!

They turned out great. I'm suprised at how good the ones with koy kissing baby Scarlett are, I didn't think they would turned out that well- and they are my favorite. Beautiful family!

You look gorgeous, Sarah! I love the ones of Koy kissing your belly, and I love all of them! The hammock turned out so cute, too. Who did you have take them? I am so glad I got to see you last weekend. Let me know how things go with the labor and all. Love you!

I'm sooo glad you did these and that I get to see them. I've wanted to take some more bare-belly pics but I haven't had any friends willing to do them recently. I have some of a friend from almost two years ago.

May I just say-- Most LDS women won't do this. I'm so glad you did! It's fun and it's something I think should be cherished. Doing it in the privacy of Jane's back yard was perfect. I had wanted to ask if you'd be willing to do this and I would have done them for free but I just haven't had the time to do so.

I'd like to get some more to add when I have my website up. If you know of anyone else who might be willing please let me know. I plan to have maternity pics taken of me in November but those will most likely be indoors and taken by a friend also. She's due the same day (!) so we'll probably do this for each other.

Oh, and by the way, 8 months is perfect timing for this! I suggest anywhere from 32-38 weeks. I look forward to taking new baby pics soon after Scarlett arrives!
