We stopped and saw Tamara and her boys, and then also saw Mark, her husband. I met Tamara when we lived in Arkansas. She is David's age and her family was in our ward there. At one time she even dated my cousin Nathanial Hancock. She was doing well, and as always it was fun to see friends from long ago and see that they haven't really changed. They are still the great people that you always knew they were.
Swimming party at the "Club" near Kable's parents home. All of the cousins came to swim, even the newest one! Melanie's baby Matthew was born on her birthday while we were there.

We got to go camping while visiting Kable's family. We went to Green River Lakes, a cherished spot by the Smiths in Wyoming that I have never been blessed to see. I was so excited when I found out this trip was planned. You see, I hear all about the adventures that have been had there by all, except me. It was beautiful. The mountain in the background of the lake picture is called Square Top, and many a Smith has hiked to the top, but not me. The hike Kable, Koy, and I went on was hard enough for me. We hiked to a place called Slide Creek Falls. I had no idea how far it was. We ran out of water (I ended up sipping from a mini waterfall and was lucky to not get sick)and let's just say were not quite prepared for the length of it with a little one. To Kable's credit, he did carry Koy most of the way and did try to save me most of the precious little water we had left. By the end, I was just saying my prayers to get me back to the tent and the lake, so I could soak my feet in the ice cold water! The only complaint I had other than that, were the numerous mosquitoes! Ugh, we were eaten alive. Don't think the nice smelling, not greasy feeling bug spray works on those mountain mosquitoes either! It doesn't. We tried! Poor Koy looked like he had chicken pox by the end of the time there. We even left a day early mostly because of those dang pests. I also couldn't believe how freezing cold it got at night. I couldn't sleep very well b/c it was so cold, neither could Koy. The bathrooms there were actually not that bad, for outhouses! I was kind of suprised. Okay, so I'm not a camper. I enjoy the beautiful sites, but not the bugs, cold weather, scortching heat, dirt, and nasty bathroom conditions! Something else I learned- never trust a guy, (Kable), to pack for a camping trip. Guys just don't pay attention to details and think they can get along without everything-blankets, water, bug spray, etc! Although, I must say he was nice to pack.

We got to go to a Smith family reunion at a water park. We should have taken more pics! These are all we got, but you have to admit, Koy is pretty hilarious!
We stopped and saw Britney and Jed on the way back to Ogden. Here is a cute picture of Koy and Brooklynn. Koy was really sick with diarhea and throwing-up and unfortunately passed the bug to Brooklynn.
The girls!
I love this picture of my two handsome boys! Man, they're lookers! I got so lucky!
