4th of July Celebration at the Balsmeiers!

We had so much fun that night! There was a blow-up jumping house for the little ones, flies-up for the guys, good food, lots of company, and amazing fireworks! I mean it too. They go all out for the fireworks! The Balsmeiers were so nice to throw such a huge and fun party.

Tornado Damage

First picture is of several storage units that got hit. The second, one of the houses, and last, some sort of metal sheet wrapped around a tree or pole.

The kids love Joe. Who wouldn't? He is so fun.

Of course, there had to be a natural disaster while Anne and I were together. This time, it was a tornado that hit Manhattan the night before the Andersons left for Utah. We were checking the news, getting ready for bed, and heard the weather man say several tornados were heading our way, right to our town. So, we headed to our basement. We had the news on down there and all huddled close, praying that we would be safe. We didn't know how blessed we were until the next morning when we found out that True Value was leveled, about 30 homes damaged, K-Sate had about 20 million in damages, and a city not far from us, Chapman, was just about demolished!

The Manhattan Zoo

Kennedi wore Koy's monkey backpack to the zoo.

Ruby and Koy loved to hold hands.

Munchkins!

So cute! We even go to see the new baby chimpanzee while there. It was really cute holding on to it's mother.

Koy and Rubee jumping in the crib!

Koy was goofing off on our shopping trip while we were getting a bite to eat at Wendys, so I grabbed my camera.

Isn't this the cutest chair ever!
Jane and I went on a fun shopping trip in Kansas City . Here, we are at Nebraska Furniture Mart. I have to admit I love it. It's fun to imagine the cute furniture in my house. There is a Sees candy shop inside. It's a huge store. Brianna and Koy are enjoying suckers from there.
I think Kable might have even enjoyed the dancing.

At the end of the dance, all the kids came out and danced the hokey pokey with us.

Our friends Brian and Jane Tuttle. She borrowed my dress and it looked great on her!

Scary picture!

OK, so I also forgot to post the pics from our ward Valentine dance I was in charge of. Here's me getting ready.

Football!

And, here is his famous clown eyes!
And, here he is sitting on his football!
So, I forgot to post these in order. I think this was before my Lousiana trip, but oh well. Here he is with his "football helmet" and football.
The boys and the babies! This is after our trip to the temple. We usually go to this Chinese food buffet restaurant. It is pretty good.
It was so nice to go to the temple as a family. We did baptisms while there and it was really neat to have everyone in our family there. David's friends were so nice to babysit while we were there.
